We had a couple good nights in the hotel. It has a good location. The hotel is clean and offer coffee and some sweets in the lobby (complimentary). The staff were friendly and helpful. If you don’t ask every day cleaning you can even choose a free soft drink in the bar or extra point on your Accor account that is very green positive.

Why is this hotel promoted with a Swimming pool!?? To our great surprise, wasn't there no pool. We stayed there for 8 nights. Un-charming rooms. No toilet accessories. No restaurant. Nice breakfast but expensive. Where did the 4 stars come from?

The hotel is nice with a decent bar which does offer some food such as salads, sandwiches and pizzas, however there is no restaurant. Fortunately it's just a 5 minute walk to plenty of restaurants. Receptionists and bar staff very kind and helpful. However as I've often experienced in Germany, you have two single duvets on a double bed. Travelling alone, I would much prefer a larger duvet. Would be great if it was an option! Something new for me was the small square pillows which are too small for their covers and were not very comfortable which didn't help to get a good nights sleep. Would be so much better to have standard rectangle pillows which fit their covers.

Atfer a long driving journey from Poland,we checked in just after 22.00, very warm welcoming from the Reception lady, 2 adults 1 child and 1 dog, the room was big and very comfortable, the bed was very comfy, the sofa bed was good for 1 night stay. Breakfast was 5 🌟 A lot to choose from.. Overall good Experience 👍. Just maybe 1 negative note, the parking was pricey 18€ for night.. Luis Lopes

Located very closed to Essen center , very clean and comfortable rooms , friendly staff and good options for breakfast. There is a quite backyard were you can enjoy in piece your coffee , sweet cakes etc. Staff in reception very friendly , multilingual and willing to help at any time . It was a pleasant stay !

Only good thing was that the reception was very friendly. Other than that, the beds are very uncomfortable. The hotel is faced towards a very busy street. I was not really able to sleep well and will definitely not come back.
